Hello! I’m Lily

You are in the right place!

I am a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC), a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), a CF-L1 Trainer, a food lover (specifically baked goods), an athlete (CrossFit and lifting are my jam), a military spouse to my lovely husband Bryan, a dog momma to Drax, Howie and Penny, a friend, a thinker and a doer. But I have not always been confident in who I am.

My struggles with my body, food and exercise began when I was 16 years old. I was uncomfortable with the weight I had gained when I stopped playing competitive soccer, so I started working out solely to look a certain way. From there, specifically during my transition to college, it escalated to what I now recognize as orthorexia, disordered eating, overtraining and self-loathing. I was tracking everything I ate, constantly hungry, fatigued, perpetually injured, and unhappy at every weight I killed myself to reach.

I was truly passionate about fitness, but because of my thought patterns, I began to lose my love for fitness and was forcing myself to workout. This was very troubling to me because although I was motivated by physique when I started working out, fitness used to bring me joy. When I graduated college, I was still completely lost.

I thought I was going to be at war with food and my body for the rest of my life.

Looking back, I graduated college, gave over 900 hours of service to an organization I believed in, started a career as a police officer, married my best friend and moved numerous times, but I failed to be present for most of it. I realize that I failed to be satisfied despite all of the good in my life. One thing I did learn for sure about myself through all of this is that I love serving others.

From the outside everyone saw me as the “healthy, fit girl” and some people even said they wished they could be as motivated as me. Little did they know the emotional and physical battle I was enduring every day. I hit my breaking point and realized what I was doing wasn’t sustainable nor good for my mental or physical health. I decided to make a change and I was determined to make it stick this time. I embarked on my journey to food freedom and body-confidence alone and it took a long time to find peace.

While I was able to serve in my position as a police officer, I did not enjoy the work. I wanted to find a career in which I could combine my passion for health and fitness in a positive way and fulfill my desire to serve. I realized that with my experiences overcoming toxic food habits and diet culture, that what I really needed to be doing was helping people in that exact position. I enrolled in the Integrative Nutrition Health Coach Training Program to make that dream a reality, and it was the final push I needed to feel confident in myself and in helping others.

I am SO excited to take the guesswork out of your journey. I took my experience and the tools I learned in training to create a program that helps you rediscover yourself and ditch your toxic habits for good.

What People Are Saying

I don't even know where to start on this. It took a lot out of me to try "another" thing to help myself with food and fitness. What I didn't realize back when I was fighting to take this step was that this 12-week program would do so much more than help me with food and fitness.

These 12 weeks made me think entirely differently about food, fitness, meditation, home cooking, life study, relationship, and so much more. Because of this program, I don't feel guilty about taking care of myself and giving myself breaks! I can go on and on..about how much this 12-week program has helped me. This is one fantastic program! And if it can help me after trying MANY MANY OTHER things... It can help other people as well!

Working with Lily has changed the way I look at a lot of things. She has made me realize that my body doesn’t define my value. I have always put lots of emphasis on the way my body looked, and she helped me to dive deep and figure out where that all began. The action steps that she helped me come up with to have a healthy relationship with my body has helped me incredibly.

She also helped me with my eating habits and food labels. I’ve been able to become more flexible with the types of food I eat and to focus on the motivation of why I am eating what I eat. I’m also able to not let eating less nutritional food stress me out like it used to, and it feels very freeing. She has helped me tremendously in the key areas I needed to work on, and I’m very thankful for the incredible coaching she gave me.

Lily has been so helpful as a health coach. I’ve learned to take things one step at a time, to slow down & enjoy life where I am now, to live in the moment. Lily has helped change my mindset on my body image & change my relationship with food in such a positive way. I would 100% recommend Lily as a coach, she goes above and beyond for her clients!

Lily’s passion for health and fitness is more than helping you look your best, it’s helping you be your best self both inside and outside of the gym. Lily is the perfect person to help you reach your goals because above all, she supports you as a human.

Lily helped me think about the reasons and habits behind eating, exercising, and thinking about my body image. She helped me find the values in my life that are important to me and find ways to process what I was going through besides food and exercise.

Changing your relationship with body image is not easy, and I still have times when I struggle with negative thought patterns. But after working with Lily, I can recognize the patterns I fall into and I have a set of tools that I can look toward to figure out what I’m feeling.

Having a coach who fully supports you, addresses your roadblocks, and takes a holistic approach to intuitive eating changes your outlook. I would recommend anyone to work with Lily if you want to discover new confidence and appreciation for all that you are as a person!

Lily really helped me jump-start my summer planning by making me more aware and efficient in my planning process. I used to be so frazzled and with her coaching, I was able to tackle and achieve long-overdue items. Overall, a great experience (and first time) with health-coaching. HIGHLY recommend Lily! Plus she's super sweet and easy to talk to.
